 Today, I'm going to review a pair of iFairy Kirei Green lenses that I received quite a while ago, kindly sponsored by ifairycon.com :D !! Lately I have been looking for vibrant green lenses and I thought Kirei green looks pretty nice ;D I mean, look at how they gleam in the promo picture!! xD 

Initially, I was quite skeptical about whether the promo picture will reflect how it looks in real life :( After all many lenses look nicer in the promo picture than in real life *sigh* . Looking at the design though, it has yellow inner ring which I have observed will help make the lens design look more vibrant in real life. 

So after musing over it for a while I submitted my choice to iFairycon and decided to review this pair of beauties ;D. iFairycon's package arrived bubble wrapped nicely soon after (they really work fast!! :D!!)  They've also included a cute lens case ;D (the "ears" on the lens case's caps makes it easier to open/close the case ;D)

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

I love the design! Before I tried the pair, I was actually really worried if the green will show. I kept asking myself, "The green looks really faint, will it show on brown eyes?" / "will the green be too transparent to counteract my dark eye colour?" / "will the green show at all?" After trying, I'd say I'm pretty happy :) The yellow ring does enhance the green colour in pictures and under window/camera lighting :). The design on the outer rim does show a bit and you can see a visible green ring just inside the limbus ring ;D (the outer black ring) 

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡

As with most iFairy lenses, I find these pair pretty comfortable. My eyes adjusted pretty quickly and I wore it for 7-8 hours on my first day without any discomfort :) 

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

These are a huge pair ;D !! iFairy is around 16,2mm if I'm not mistaken and yep, it does enlarge a lot ! ;D 

Colour ♥♥♥♡♡

The green does show fabulously on camera (even under shadowy lighting!) However, its not opaque (the green is slightly translucent) and thus , although the lucency does make it blend nicely with our natural eye colour , the green doesnt pop out .  :( Despite looking not too bright off camera, I am not sure why but it shows up pretty well on both phone camera and a DSLR ❤  !!! O3O and my friends can tell very clearly from a few meters away that I am wearing a pair of green lenses. So if you want a pair of vibrant green lenses that is suitable for casual wear, this is one to consider when you want it about 50% vibrant :3 . It pairs up nicely with gyaru eye make up ❤. But if you're looking for something GLARING / OPAQUE (ie.for cosplay , halloween etc) this is a good pair for photoshoot (because it shows well on camera :D) and you can consider it for events (it won't scream "GREEEEEEN" but will rather show a mellow gleaming kind of green ;D) Lastly, the green here veer more towards aqua green than grass green ,so some people may not expect it as it looks more like grass green on the promotinal picture - just an extra information as you may want to take this into account especially if you are a coser who seeks accuracy ;) 

In conclusion:

Will I buy it again ? 

Yep!!! I think it has a pretty gleam of green both for daily use and for photoshoots when you actually have proper lighting to bring out the colour in your lenses. So yep, I'll probably get a pair again after this pair becomes unusable just to stock up in case I need one pair for a shoot or just for casual wear ;D

Lens Review ♡ i.Fairy Pon Pon Gray ( ・ω・`)//~~

Today's review will be about iFairy's relatively new series of lenses - 

 ♡ iFairy Pon Pon Gray ♡

Ordered this because I love grey colored lenses and am in need of one , so I reckon - must as well try a new one ^^  This time, the packaging comes in a sealed plastic capsules instead of the usual glass vials. The plastic capsules are placed in a hot pink box - easier for storage compared to the old glass vials definitely :3

Now, for the actual lens pattern  :)

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♡♡

Initially, I thought the lens will look exactly like the design when worn ( the yellow, purple, bluish effects on the outer rim) sadly it wont look like that . As you can see, its closer to most 3 tone gray lenses. The yellow colour show a bit and the blue colour looks like gray ( which is , true to its name - pon pon gray , but I was kinda expecting a bluer finish to the gray :3 ) HOWEVER, one difference between this and generic 3 tone gray lenses  is that these lenses are HUGE. And unlike 3 tone lenses, the gray colours are more peripheral (on the edge) . Do I like it ? Yup :3 It gives off some sort of gloss/ shine to the eyes when worn and the despite the design not showing off too much, it looks pretty natural and cutesy :3 

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡

Comfortable like most ifairy lenses in general :3 I can wear this 6 hours straight 

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

I like how while the design doesnt have the outer black ring /limbus (which have lots of enlarging effect ) - it still manage to give a huge enlarging effect ;)  the lack of limbus also made this ring much more natural looking . In addition, its also easy to wear out . This pair of lenses still gives off a pretty much natural vibe even without fake eyelashes or mascara  :) 

Colour ♥♥♥♥♡

The gray colour is vibrant without being too unnatural  ;) I love how it blends in easily with dark eye colour :)

Lens Review ♡ i.Fairy Dolly+ Brown ( ・ω・`)//~~

Hello~ 

So many things went on these few weeks from some shoots, to project deadlines, to appearing on Hello! Japan to me x'D!!! I really really have to find some time to blog all that's happening or else this blog will just die OTL....

In order to discipline myself from spouting excuses such as "too tired...too lazy" 

I finally decided to blog about one of the lenses series that I bought because I thought they have awesome designs !!!

Today I'm going to write a review about a pair of lenses I tried recently for my Suzumiya Haruhi shoot read *here* :3 

iFairy Dolly+ Brown !

this series is also known as Vassen Dolly plus Brown for those who purchase from Vassen! :)

I bought this pair because I'm looking for a pair of brown lenses which is on the mellow side, but at the same time allow it to stand out . For this I've purchased a few pairs and initially, seeing that dolly red is quite vibrant, I thought dolly brown will lean towards yellow/gold rather than brown, as pictured in the ads above :)"

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

I find the design simple and not too unnatural. The black ring and simple design allows the colour in this series to stand out quite a bit and I feel that this series will be good to use for cosplay ;3 however, the downside is of course, it doesnt look as natural as some other lenses. Puffy 3 tone series from barbie is natural looking but the lack of the solid black ring means the enlarging effects are not as much as ifairy's -- in the end, it depends on how you want to replicate the chara's eyes I guess :3

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡

Comfort wise, this is a comfortable pair of lenses ^^4 hours straight under hot weather and its perfectly comfortable for me :)

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

Very good enlarging effects ;D 

Colour ♥♥♥♥♡

Good if you're looking for a pair of brown lenses that will stand out during shoots :3 However, if you're looking for yellow/gold :( be prepared to be disappointed as unless you take a close up shot/ have very good lighting on set,  the lenses' colour tend to veer on the side of light brown rather than yellow/gold that is portrayed on the ad :3 

Will I buy it again ? 

Yep! This works quite nicely for me since Im not looking for gold/yellow lenses this time around :D the brown does stand out and provides a very nice mellow soft brown colour to your eyes ;D Wont really be wearing this much if you want something which look natural though ^^ but yes, this is good for cosplay ;D

Here are some pictures from my Haruhi shoot which I took with my phone, 

just to show you how it leans more towards brown 

I guess, if you're using some sort of flash or reflectors when you're taking pictures :x or taking SUPER CLOSED UP pictures , the gold/yellow hue will show, as seen in my close up pictures up above O.O

The picture below is taken by hi-def camera but is totally unedited

As you can see, the pattern is clearer, making the colour more noticeable but not much brighter :/ 

With proper lighting blasted FULL POWER at your face from the reflector (which is very hot <literally> and blinding at times <hahahahaxD> ) it can look clearer :3 this added with some processing can look quite vibrant ^^
