 Today, I'm going to review a pair of iFairy Kirei Green lenses that I received quite a while ago, kindly sponsored by ifairycon.com :D !! Lately I have been looking for vibrant green lenses and I thought Kirei green looks pretty nice ;D I mean, look at how they gleam in the promo picture!! xD 

Initially, I was quite skeptical about whether the promo picture will reflect how it looks in real life :( After all many lenses look nicer in the promo picture than in real life *sigh* . Looking at the design though, it has yellow inner ring which I have observed will help make the lens design look more vibrant in real life. 

So after musing over it for a while I submitted my choice to iFairycon and decided to review this pair of beauties ;D. iFairycon's package arrived bubble wrapped nicely soon after (they really work fast!! :D!!)  They've also included a cute lens case ;D (the "ears" on the lens case's caps makes it easier to open/close the case ;D)

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

I love the design! Before I tried the pair, I was actually really worried if the green will show. I kept asking myself, "The green looks really faint, will it show on brown eyes?" / "will the green be too transparent to counteract my dark eye colour?" / "will the green show at all?" After trying, I'd say I'm pretty happy :) The yellow ring does enhance the green colour in pictures and under window/camera lighting :). The design on the outer rim does show a bit and you can see a visible green ring just inside the limbus ring ;D (the outer black ring) 

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡

As with most iFairy lenses, I find these pair pretty comfortable. My eyes adjusted pretty quickly and I wore it for 7-8 hours on my first day without any discomfort :) 

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

These are a huge pair ;D !! iFairy is around 16,2mm if I'm not mistaken and yep, it does enlarge a lot ! ;D 

Colour ♥♥♥♡♡

The green does show fabulously on camera (even under shadowy lighting!) However, its not opaque (the green is slightly translucent) and thus , although the lucency does make it blend nicely with our natural eye colour , the green doesnt pop out .  :( Despite looking not too bright off camera, I am not sure why but it shows up pretty well on both phone camera and a DSLR ❤  !!! O3O and my friends can tell very clearly from a few meters away that I am wearing a pair of green lenses. So if you want a pair of vibrant green lenses that is suitable for casual wear, this is one to consider when you want it about 50% vibrant :3 . It pairs up nicely with gyaru eye make up ❤. But if you're looking for something GLARING / OPAQUE (ie.for cosplay , halloween etc) this is a good pair for photoshoot (because it shows well on camera :D) and you can consider it for events (it won't scream "GREEEEEEN" but will rather show a mellow gleaming kind of green ;D) Lastly, the green here veer more towards aqua green than grass green ,so some people may not expect it as it looks more like grass green on the promotinal picture - just an extra information as you may want to take this into account especially if you are a coser who seeks accuracy ;) 

In conclusion:

Will I buy it again ? 

Yep!!! I think it has a pretty gleam of green both for daily use and for photoshoots when you actually have proper lighting to bring out the colour in your lenses. So yep, I'll probably get a pair again after this pair becomes unusable just to stock up in case I need one pair for a shoot or just for casual wear ;D

Hello~ 

So many things went on these few weeks from some shoots, to project deadlines, to appearing on Hello! Japan to me x'D!!! I really really have to find some time to blog all that's happening or else this blog will just die OTL....

In order to discipline myself from spouting excuses such as "too tired...too lazy" 

I finally decided to blog about one of the lenses series that I bought because I thought they have awesome designs !!!

Yeap ! 

Today I'm going to write a review about a pair of lenses I tried recently drg my Senbonzakura Miku shoot ! :3 *read here*

iFary Cara Green !

this series is also known as Vassen Lollipop Green for those who purchase from Vassen! :)

The reason I bought this pair is mainly because the design and colour looks very vibrant in the advert picture x'D !!!! When I saw it , I thought : "HEY! This will be an really awesome vibrant lens for cosplay !!"

And yep , when I opened the casings , I definitely still thought so !!

Now lets move on to the review of the lenses when worn !

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

The design is really cute unique and cute even. Its not often that we see lenses like this being worn because they may seem unnatural. However, to be very honest, after I've worn them, I noticed that they're not exactly as unnatural as I thought they'd be. As you can see above , 
1. they are not 100% as vibrant as they are in the advert picture. The green colour doesnt scream out as much as compared to what I was expecting.
2. they are 'ok' in terms of vibrancy for cosplay lenses , although this is a plus point if you dont want to look too striking , sporting alien-like patterned eyes while going out in casual outfit but would love to have a unique pattern on your lenses ;3

Comfort ♥♥♥♡♡

Comfort wise, this is a comfortable pair of lenses ^^ despite its large size, I wore them for 6+ hours straight from beginning of shoot till end of shoot + outing and my eyes are quite comfortable :3 

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

Needless to say , satisfactory ;D Very nice enlarging effects !

Colour ♥♥♥♥♡

Good if you're not looking for a bright and 'sreaming' kind of green colour, but sadly not good enough if you're expecting to have eyes with the same vibrant green colours as an anime characters' ://// Its needs to be a little bit brighter to give you the anime character eyes look. In my coses, it kinda work because in a distance it looks more like teal /bluish green rather than grass green, which suits my chara's teal green hair.

Will I buy it again ? 

Hmm, maybe yes, maybe no? I have the cara red which I will review soon I guess. But now that I've known how cara green is, I'm not really convinced that cara red will be much more vibrant. For green lenses, I still like Barbie's Puffy Three Tones, which look very natural although the enlarging effect is not as extensive as ifairy lenses' . Im guessing that Jewel green series from iFairy may be a better choice for green lenses so oh well ~ lets try that next time ~ ;D

Lens Review ★ Barbie's Puffy Three Tone Gray ( ・ω・`)//~~

I actually bought this lenses purely because I loved the green puffy three tone  I had before so much that I want to try the grey ones too >,<

This was the green one that I reviewed before :D

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

I'm in love with this pair xD !!! The design makes it looks more natural (although the grey colour of course doesnt because asians doesnt usually have gray eyes hahaha ^^") and it mimicks natural irises' pattern xD 

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡

As with my experience with Barbie's Puffy Three Tone Green before *here* , this pair is very comfortable :D doesnt fold by itself , doesnt move around, doesnt overly dry my eyes even after I wore them out for 6 hours ++ :D 

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

Yepp! it doesnt have the black rim many other lenses have but its vivid design and colour makes its enlargement effect very noticeable ;D 

Colour ♥♥♥♥♡

In love with them  ;D !! In fact , I think Barbie's puffy three tone is becoming my favorite lenses series now (Kimchi's Bambi series, although very close in design to Tsubasa'a Bambi series, are less comfortable to me  compared to Barie's , although I love their designs too >,<) 

Will I buy it again ? 

Yes !! xD Love it !!

Really happy with these new lenses :D 

Anyway , this is one day after the Runway on Saturday ,

 and I was going out to meet my CG friends :3 ....

I really feel tired and wasted.... in addition to the morning rain, It took me half an hour before I finally went out of bed although I was already awake... 

The bed was just... so comfy ... >,<"""" !!!!!!

 have to go out despite the perfect weather for sleep

Despite the rain , decided to wear my Bone clips out again!!! 
Wahahaha , cheapo me being so proud of the DIY cheapo Bone Clips xD !!

We decided to meet at Marina Square for a bowling session 

The last time I bowled was during Sec school for this compulsory "enrichment" programme that I have .. ... I ... have no predisposition nor talents whatsoever towards any kind of sports that involves balls (I am pretty good with badminton ) . Somehow balls just scares me . Tennis , Pingpong , Basketball , you name it ! Somehow, I always got hit by them when I tried to play the respective sports ~_~"""" all except bowling till now, and I'm not too eager to hit my toes with the heavy bowling ball etc (imagining worst case scenario) 

Somehow, the session ended well for me !! wahahaha ! 
Maybe my unlucky streak with sports ended liao xD
