Lens Review ♡ Komi Look SunFlower Brown ( ・ω・`)//~~

Heyo~ ;D

Recently I got ahold of Komi Look lenses at a very cheap price xD !! So I've decided to review it ^^ I guess this isnt one of the more popular / easily found brands locally in sg but when I saw the cute design and the natural colour ( since brown was easier to wear to work ;D compared to more vibrant colours like purple or gray ) I decided to purchase it

Life : 1 Year

Diameter: 18.00 mm

Center Thickness: 0.0200mm

Lenses Hardness: Soft

I was always on the constant lookout for nice brown lenses with natural yet vibrant colour and pattern :) tried iFairy's eclipse brown last time, which have awesome enlarging effects (my eyes were humongously big with the lenses ^^" ) but the pattern wasnt so vibrant

For Komi brown , I find the design pretty cute ｡◕‿◕｡ *happy*

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

The flower design is really pretty although like most natural lenses, it doesnt really stand out when worn. Nevertheless , this design does appear a bit if you look close enough:3

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♥

This is my first time trying Komi Look lenses and to be honest I am totally happy with it ^^ The lenses are comfortable and if I managed to get access to Komi Look lenses at affordable prices again I'd definitely buy it ^^

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

Very good enlarging effects ;D

Colour ♥♥♥♡♡

The colour also isnt too sheer . It is quite opaque that the brown actually shows up :3 I feel that it is more suitable for natural look though

Will I buy it again ?

Definitely Yes :) Actually love how comfortable it is and would really love to try out more of the different designs if possible :D I somehow feel that the enlarging effect is not too big (not as big as ifairy or kimchi) and yet bigger than barbie and luxury :3 So its a nice middle ground for me :D

Have you tried Komi lenses before ? What do you think about these lenses ?

Lens Review ♡ i.Fairy Dolly+ Brown ( ・ω・`)//~~

Hello~

So many things went on these few weeks from some shoots, to project deadlines, to appearing on Hello! Japan to me x'D!!! I really really have to find some time to blog all that's happening or else this blog will just die OTL....

In order to discipline myself from spouting excuses such as "too tired...too lazy"

I finally decided to blog about one of the lenses series that I bought because I thought they have awesome designs !!!

Yeap !

Today I'm going to write a review about a pair of lenses I tried recently for my Suzumiya Haruhi shoot read *here* :3

iFairy Dolly+ Brown !

this series is also known as Vassen Dolly plus Brown for those who purchase from Vassen! :)

I bought this pair because I'm looking for a pair of brown lenses which is on the mellow side, but at the same time allow it to stand out . For this I've purchased a few pairs and initially, seeing that dolly red is quite vibrant, I thought dolly brown will lean towards yellow/gold rather than brown, as pictured in the ads above :)"

on the lens case, I definitely still thought so !!

Now lets move on to the review of the lenses when worn !

Review :

Design ♥♥♥♥♡

I find the design simple and not too unnatural. The black ring and simple design allows the colour in this series to stand out quite a bit and I feel that this series will be good to use for cosplay ;3 however, the downside is of course, it doesnt look as natural as some other lenses. Puffy 3 tone series from barbie is natural looking but the lack of the solid black ring means the enlarging effects are not as much as ifairy's -- in the end, it depends on how you want to replicate the chara's eyes I guess :3

Comfort ♥♥♥♥♡

Comfort wise, this is a comfortable pair of lenses ^^4 hours straight under hot weather and its perfectly comfortable for me :)

Enlargement ♥♥♥♥♡

Very good enlarging effects ;D

Colour ♥♥♥♥♡

Good if you're looking for a pair of brown lenses that will stand out during shoots :3 However, if you're looking for yellow/gold :( be prepared to be disappointed as unless you take a close up shot/ have very good lighting on set, the lenses' colour tend to veer on the side of light brown rather than yellow/gold that is portrayed on the ad :3

Will I buy it again ?

Yep! This works quite nicely for me since Im not looking for gold/yellow lenses this time around :D the brown does stand out and provides a very nice mellow soft brown colour to your eyes ;D Wont really be wearing this much if you want something which look natural though ^^ but yes, this is good for cosplay ;D

Here are some pictures from my Haruhi shoot which I took with my phone,

just to show you how it leans more towards brown

I guess, if you're using some sort of flash or reflectors when you're taking pictures :x or taking SUPER CLOSED UP pictures , the gold/yellow hue will show, as seen in my close up pictures up above O.O

The picture below is taken by hi-def camera but is totally unedited

As you can see, the pattern is clearer, making the colour more noticeable but not much brighter :/

With proper lighting blasted FULL POWER at your face from the reflector (which is very hot <literally> and blinding at times <hahahahaxD> ) it can look clearer :3 this added with some processing can look quite vibrant ^^

❤ Going 2-tone Brown with VELLUS Hair Studio ❤ SEIFUKU

Hello People~~

As you may have known from my FB, I've recently changed my hair colour from Brown x Pink Ombre to 2-tone brown for some reasons :

(1)Its a bit difficult to maintain a nice ombre shade with my crazy work schedule :( No matter how much I love the ombre shade >,<;;;; hurhurr....

(2) I have to cut my hair anyway because its getting difficult maintaining my past-waist long hair :/ I have to use 3-4 pumps of shampoo and 5-6 pumps of conditioner every single time I wash my hair TAT;;; hurhur....

and lastly but more importantly !!!!

(3) I look more 'guai' :D !!!

(literal translation : 'obedient' but I meant it in a way that It gave me an easier time at my work/school because you know:P :

- In my field of work people will judge your credibility by your hair colour :(((( SAD

- I dont need to bun up my hair EVERYDAY anymore just to hide that pretty pink TAT;;;

- the 2 tone is quite nice too ;D so yea... I'm more or less ready for a new hair colour~

Last few camwhores of my Ombre hair before I went off to Vellus to cut it off ^^"""

(sorry lah , Toilet camwhore x'D I was rushing off and I have no big mirror in my room)

So I dropped by Vellus Hair Studio to dye my hair to a lighter shade of 2 tone brown :3

I have to study even as Trevin dyed my hair TAT;;;

hurhur.... because I havent managed to memorize what I'm supposed to memorize by then... I swear I may have some early onset dementia already... No matter how many times I read =_= I just cant seem to retain it...

I felt really sad that they have to cut off about 15 cm of my ahir ends...

I dont knwo if its only me or .... but I always feel pretty sad when I have to cut my hair TAT Do you guys feel the same too when you have to cut your hair ? >,<;;;

Anyway, skipping the hours of tedious process ^^

After Trevin worked tirelessly to give me the two-tone colour I wanted

So yea , the picture below can be an eyeburn but focus on the HAIR ! The HAIR kay !! xD

The two-tone is somehow not very obvious in pictures but its actually quite obvious in real life :3 The inner layer of my hair has some strands with lighter brown tone on it while the outside layer is made up of the darker shade of brown (so I wont be scolded at work ^^ ) heheee... *ignore my humongous forehead LOL* xD
