The Last : NARUTO The Movie ❤ Media Screening

Hello Everyone !!! 

How have you guys /girls been doing ? 

I've just been released from exam (#hell) and am now free (for a while) before my upcoming exam in a few weeks time (#sadlife) ^^"

What has been happening is , one week ago, Shizu-chan ( shizukurashi.blogspot.sg ) and I got a chance to go to a media screening for a certain movie , and it was RIGHT AFTER our exam - like seriously the DAY AFTER my exam!!! So , a few days ago, thanks to CutePop, Shizu and I get the chance to attend the Media Screening for Naruto The Last !!!!!!

I have to mention it again !!! It was ONE DAY AFTER MY EXAM ENDED !! So I was pretty excited hahaha ! ( got to watch a movie right after exam wohooo!!! )

 If you guys are Naruto fans, You guys would have known that this movie is going to be screened soon in SG :D Fans have been waiting for it to come over here for quite a long time and I was pretty curious about how it will turn out as well since Naruto's manga itself had just ended - am wondering if this will do it justice :D since I ship #NaruHina (hehehe) 

If you ship #Naruhina too, I'll tell you that this movie has plenty of rabu-rabu (romantic lovey dovey) scenes which actually send  this old aunty giggling on my seats ^^"""" because they're pretty cheesy. But oh well Naruto is a shounen series after all :3 so a little bit of cheesiness when it comes to romance is expected I guess ? But all in all, I shouldnt spoil anything and just saw that

I am waiting for a cute mini hinata with byakugan T____T and seems like neither Bolt nor Himawari had their mom's eyes... .. but I guess, thats the mangaka's decision so oh well... nothing much to do...

Hi everyone! I and Terumi just came back from the sneak preview of Zankyou no Teroru – Terror of Resonance, the new anime series by the renowned Shinichirou Watanabe, who was the director of Cowboy Bebop! Here’s my reporting from the day!

The anime’s premise is that the two ‘protagonists’, Nine (aka KokonoeArata / 九重新) and Twelve(aka Hisami Touji / 久見冬二), are on a mission to terrorize the whole city of Tokyo to take revenge for their traumatic past (presumably a human experiment program or something). Along the way, they implicated a troubled but innocent high school girl named MishimaLisa (三島リサ) as a complicit in their terrorist activities. And so, going under the pseudonym Sphinx, they bombed their way through various buildings in Tokyo, leaving behind a trail of destruction and mystery.

The feel of the movie is somewhat comparable to Psycho-Pass (maybe it can be described as Psycho-pass from the opposite point of view), although without the techno-babble and the big-brother-esque Sibyl System. While the protagonists can look cheery and playful (especially for Twelve), but their dark pasts and personalities are strategically foreshadowed, setting the series’ dark tone.

I’m really impressed by how believable the modern society is in the series O.O Like, they actually use Youtube instead of TV to spread their terror messages O.O The characters also regularly chat to each other on their phones using something like Whatsapp (instead of the usual email). They even had a reference to the cola + mentos reaction (from episode 2 ehehe how lucky was I)which was super popular on Youtube last few years.

Anyways, about the production quality itself, I think it was quite amazing! The art was superb, animation great, and the effects they used were strategically placed. I think lady fans would also love the two ikemen protagonists, the ice-cool Nine and the red-hot Twelve. Of course, as a guy, that’s not for me to comment though. For the male fans, you can have this picture of Lisa instead.

And dat music O.O 

The music is soooo nice O.O Soo moody and dark yet melodious O.O The soundtrack is composed by the great Yoko Kanno-sensei (technically KannoYouko though), which would explain why it’s so nice.

The OP song is「Trigger」by Galileo Galilei (I think it was only by the lead singer but I could be wrong), while the ED song is 「Dare ka, Umiwo」by Aimer which definitely goes directly into my playlist once it comes out. I’ve never heard of Aimer before, apparently she’s been compared with YUI with regards to her voice (which I think is true), so I’ll definitely be checking her albums out. The OP/ED songs were both written again by Yoko Kanno herself, so that’s already one big reason to check out the anime :D

Anyways thanks so much to the organizer ANIPLUS HD, Cherry Credits for hosting the preview (their mini-cinema is so comfy I wish I could live there). You should definitely check out the anime!! You can watch it on ANIPLUS HD which will be available on Singtelmio TV Ch340 and Toggle.sg :D It’s simulcasted from Japan so you’ll be the first people to watch it in its full HD glory :D

❤ Going 2-tone Brown with VELLUS Hair Studio ❤ SEIFUKU

Hello People~~ 

As you may have known from my FB, I've recently changed my hair colour from Brown x Pink Ombre to 2-tone brown for some reasons :

(1)Its a bit difficult to maintain a nice ombre shade with my crazy work schedule :( No matter how much I love the ombre shade >,<;;;; hurhurr....

(2) I have to cut my hair anyway because its getting difficult maintaining my past-waist long hair :/ I have to use 3-4 pumps of shampoo and 5-6 pumps of conditioner every single time I wash my hair TAT;;; hurhur....

and lastly but more importantly !!!!

(3) I look more 'guai'  :D !!!

(literal translation : 'obedient' but I meant it in a way that It gave me an easier time at my work/school because you know:P :

- In my field of work people will judge your credibility by your hair colour  :(((( SAD

- I dont need to bun up my hair EVERYDAY anymore just to hide that pretty pink TAT;;;

- the 2 tone is quite nice too ;D so yea... I'm more or less ready for a new hair colour~

(sorry lah , Toilet camwhore x'D I was rushing off and I have no big mirror in my room)

So I dropped by Vellus Hair Studio to dye my hair to a lighter shade of 2 tone brown :3 

I have to study even as Trevin dyed my hair TAT;;; 

hurhur.... because I havent managed to memorize what I'm supposed to memorize by then... I  swear I may have some early onset dementia already... No matter how many times I read =_= I just cant seem to retain it...

I felt really sad that they have to cut off about 15 cm of my ahir ends... 

I dont knwo if its only me or .... but I always feel pretty sad when I have to cut my hair TAT Do you guys feel the same too when you have to cut your hair ? >,<;;;

Anyway, skipping the hours of tedious process ^^

After Trevin worked tirelessly to give me the two-tone colour I wanted 

Here's the end results !!!

I only remembered to take picture of my hair after I've had my makeup REMOVED !! >,<

So yea , the picture below can be an eyeburn but focus on the HAIR ! The HAIR kay !! xD

The two-tone is somehow not very obvious in pictures but its actually quite obvious in real life :3 The inner layer of my hair has some strands with lighter brown tone on it while the outside layer is made up of the darker shade of brown (so I wont be scolded at work ^^ ) heheee... *ignore my humongous forehead LOL* xD

But after I dyed my hair , I have a shoot session for Pika Pika  Meido Cafe's Upcoming event ;D So here's my new hair  ;D With complimentary Seifuku ~❤

AFA SG 2013 - Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2013 - Event Preview :D

It's this time of the year again ~ and what more exciting Anime Con is there in Singapore beside  Anime Festival ASIA !!! I visited AFA on its First Day running, ( 8th November 2013, Friday ) as a part of CutePop to watch the event preview !!

Singapore, 8 November 2013 – Anime Festival Asia, South-east Asia’s largest premium experiential festival for Japanese Popular Culture returns for its 6^th year today. For the first time, exhibition grounds, stage and concert halls are open for all three days from 8 to 10 November 2013 at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. Jointly organised by Japanese investors Dentsu Inc & Zepp Live Entertainment, and Singapore-based organiser SOZO, Anime Festival Asia 2013 expects to welcome over 80,000 local and overseas visitors.

The festival started off by giving visitors a rare treat with a preview appearance of more than 10 special guests, artistes and celebrity cosplayers on stage this afternoon. Crowds cheered and snapped photos as the festival stars shared their excitement and thoughts of performing at the festival.

This year’s highlights include:

• I Love Anisong Concerts and Valvrave Night: VIP tickets for Saturday and Sunday’s performances had sold out two weeks ahead of the festival. The first night of I Love Anisong will include the world’s first EGOIST concert, prominent music creators Hachioji P, livetune, and motsu x DJ Kaya, and home-grown idol Valerie’s solo performance. Saturday’s I Love Anisong will feature music divas LiSA, May’n and Eir Aoi. On Sunday, the first ever special concert dedicated to “Valvrave The Liberator” will feature angela, T.M.Revolution, and Elisa. The night’s special guest performer, Nana Mizuki, will make her overseas debut. There will also be a special stage segment featuring voice actors Ryouta Ousaka and Ryohei Kimura.
• Featured Anime: Anime lovers can look forward to appearances and in-depth discussions by the creative teams of some of the hottest anime titles. The world premiere of Noragami’s first episode will be showcased in the festival. A dedicated Experience Zone for Japan’s top anime title, Shingeki No Kyojin, will include exclusive merchandise as well as the world’s only 1:1 Scale Titan head at the photo zone. 
• Cosplay: A multi-national cast of celebrity cosplayers will dazzle visitors with their cosplay during the festival. AFA Regional Cosplay Competition, featuring competitors from Vietnam for the first time, will see the best cosplayers battle it out for the prestigious title.
• Festival Hits Returns: The ever-popular Akiba Town will offer an extensive array of merchandise and collectibles for shoppers. Diners can look forward to AFA Café, which combines the Moe Moe Kyun Maids Café team with the Atelier Royale Butler team for a refreshing experience. The Creators Hub’s showcase of talent and Mini Stage’s activities are set to keep visitors engaged at every turn. 

   

Anime Festival Asia 2013 will open from 11am to 9pm on 8^th November, and 9am to 9pm on 9 and 10 November. chanting their "Oishiku nare~ Moe Moe Kyuuun~~ " spell to the audience ~ xD !!!
