Senbonzakura [ 千本桜 ] Vocaloid Photoshoot - Megurine Luka 巡音ルカ

It seems like it took me years to write about me ^^ hahaha 

Basically, this is a shot of a vocaloid character , Megurine Luka [ 巡音ルカ ].

Now, Vocaloid isnt an anime or a mange - neither is it a game. Its actually a voice synthesizer programme :D !! 

Previously, I've shot Miku [Hatsune Miku 初音ミク ] from the same series : Senbonzakura 

千本桜 as you can read from my previous post *here*

 I've decided to do a shoot for Luka from the same series because I just love the song (lyrings, arrangement and concept) and I love the characters' costume design as well ^^ ( as it is with most traditional-ish japanese costume hehehe ) 

So , here's the character concept for Luka in Senbonzakura :)

( the inner piece is so reminiscent of sakura wars time (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ )~~

I rushed to Japanese Garden for the shoot on the few hours of free window I have but guess what ? It RAINED !!! =____= It RAINED and in the end we waited for the rain to subside for a while and when we saw that our time was running out and the rain didnt seem to mellow any further, we decided to shoot. Right in the rain, so if you see, in some of the pictures , my costume fabric is riddled with raindrops T___T

その断頭台で見下ろして 

made the dango from random stuff. It was a 5 minutes thing ... ^^" 

The Luka paper head is the hardest one to make T_T took us almost 30 minutes to cut all parts neatly and glue it to that form T_T, sake bottle from daiso hahahaha xD I was not hapy with the eye make this time around :( am hoping for a more mellow look (but at the same time I want to give off the 'onee-sama' feel that I think Luka exudes too ) Kinda feel that I could have experimented with diff eyemakeup and eyelashes to see how it would suit her better T___T but all's done is done ...hurhur...

All in all it was a fun but half-disastrous shoot ^^ because of the short period of time within which we 'chiong' (rush) through everything and the rain + the fluctuating sunlight on that day T___T  I went to AFA with this costume and realised that the make up turned out quite dark so for the shoot and there was some problem with the wig (decided to puff it up in the end ^^) So for the shoot I decided to spend considerably more time on make up  (which for afa I did in like... under 20-30 minutes ? ) and do some brightening with my new  brigtening mousse and much more concealing :3

Basically thats my experience during this shoot ^^ am in the midst of exams now T___T hope this ends soon ( and ends well ) so I can do some reviews if possible :3

Senbonzakura [千本桜] Hatsune Miku x MEIKO Photoshoot

Hello again ~ 

I've learnt to chiong all my cosplans during vacations because when school x work period is too busy and you feel like you're growing old at accelerated rate THANKS to irregular sleep hours , irregular meal times and long hours pulled , stress etc you will have lots of cosplans (because if you dont do it now when you're young, when else) , with  little money left after you saved for coses , and very litle time to make the props , scout the photoshoot locations , do costests and and plan for photoshoots during school period :P

SO !!! 

When holiday started, 

I immediately jumped to shoot Konata from Lucky Star (read it *here* ) and Senbonzakura Miku :D !!! This below is the design for Senbonzakura Miku's costume 

A Senbonzakura Dollfie which I looked at too to ensure that my prep looks decent 

Senbonzakura is a VOCALOID software song. You can listen to it here  !! :D

Initially it was supposed to be a solo shoot but Amane-chan https://www.facebook.com/amaneyuto have a MEIKO senbonzakura ready because she's in Mirai-s team for Comic Fiesta (read her blog here :D )  and she wanted a pre-shoot in case she have enough time to get the pictures ready for another set of coscards, so we did the shoot !!!! 

On the day of the shoot  I woke up late TAT ;;; hurhur ... rushed the make and everything OTL... and forgot to pep my skin well on top of my skin not being in tres bien condition to begin with ---> flaking make up OTL..... 

Not to mention I walked to the wrong PLACE and ended up having to circle around about 300 metres OTL.... in cos...My shoes' geta parts was glued to my boots. Sadly , It seemed that the glue needed more time to dry ... I ended up walking like  a duck in the beginning HAHAHAHA xD (watch the vid :3 below xD) 

and the shoes ended up breaking anyw, so in the end , with 

(1) Flaking + Melting make up (due to the hot weather) 

(2) Broken shoes 

(3)Sweating all over (due to long walks) 

I thought to my self "Hell, I'll just use whatever I have to at least make this shoot fun now at least "

And we did !!!

Thanks too to Amane chan who despite having to wait for me (late) and having walked around shooting, entertained this noisy miku ^^""""

in case you dont know DOGE., here's DOGE (or google it )

We walked to different places and tied different poses with my melting face !! xD 

and in the end got quite a few decent pics :D

At the end of the shoot , my sakura stick died on me .... because I didnt have time to go buy a stick and paint it dark brown , I used a straw with some brown insulkating tape I had lying around from my previous props and reinforced with chopsticks in the inside, but the thing is... the chopsick slid off the night before , so I gave up , and it gave way :(((( the thing about rushed shoot.. sigh..

After the shoot, I went to eat lunch/dinner with Ee-chan , 

feels much refreshed with FOOD + COLD DRINKS and now that there's AIRCON !! xD !!!!

Anyway , we managed to get quite a few of nice shots !! ( I find that maybe Taditional Japanese-ish  themed characters do suit me better after all TxT I had comparably disastrous results with blonde/light haired characters after all hahaha x'D) Since we managed to get quite a few good shots, I'm still in the process of sieveing the hundreds of photos taken and deciding which to upload :3

AFA SG 2013 - Day 3 in ❤ Senbonzakura Luka ❤

WAHAHAHA , 

I finished my exam a few days ago ,

and HERE I AM , scarmbling to study again for the next one TxT 

So I promised myself I HAVE to post this before I study , as a matter of discipine ..

Today, I'm going to write about my AFA Day 3 experience 

it will be a short one ;3 because *glare at my own brain's slowness and the super thick textbook * OTL

Anyway, I decided to cos my Senbonzakura Luka for that day :3

I was VERY late 

*sulking* and ended up cabbing TxT

If you dont know her, Onnies is the guest cosplayer from Thailand this year !!! I was queueing, hoping to get just a handshake or pass my coscard to her and guess what ??? She even took pictures with those who queued xD

Coincidentally, the MC (guy in gray shirt) is Ee-chan's friend at our university OwO !!!
I was scheming all along to ask him if he can let me take pic with onnies (evil xD hahaha) but in the end Onnies was so nice she took pictures with most if not all of us xD!!!

In the end, I had lots of fun at AFA 2013 Day 3 !!! Although in the end I didnt manage to find many of my friends thanks to my weird timing of arrival, at least I manage to see some old friends and make some new ones :D
