Angel Beats _ Tachibana Kanade 立華 ( Tenshii ) / Angel Cosplay Photoshoot

Hello~~~ 

Today I'm going to write a short post about one of my recent Cosplay Photo Shoot :3 

Series : Angel Beats! エンジェルビーツ! 

Character : Tachibana Kanade 立華奏(Tenshi) / Angel

Here's how kanade (also called Tenshii/Angel )  looks like ^^ 

A challenge from the start OTL 

Since Im not as pale as her .. and in the illustration, she always almost have this ridiculous amount of "light" around her O3O which makes her doubly pale !!!! OTL OTL

See how dark my skin looks under the building canopy's shadow + contrasted by the CRAZY light wig ??? When I was in my room , looking at myself in the mirror, it wasnt this contrasted OTL... It was a bad day already , it was really sunny at first !!! THEN, it started to RAIN !!!! =_="" right before I have to shoot the sunflower illustration ver. OTL...

 

But in the end, I had a lot of fun and learnt some new things again too :3 

We have to experiment a lot with flash and lighting UNTIL we get an acceptable skin tone !! :D Ee-chan and I was arguing all the time about the lighting not being good, which angle will be good , and got quite annoyed when the poses we wanted to take turn out difficult to take because of the lack of lighting OTL... But in the end, at least , we managed to get some decent shots , so here they are :3 

Without further adue, the first successful shot of the day of the shoot xD!!!

But in the end, havent manage to sieve through this version's folder yet :( 
Have to find some more free time first ^^"" Thus this below is the only one I have for now :((

This shoot's main trouble is really the freaking skin tone >,<

I guess if you have proper equipment/studio/awesome expensive flash it will be easier but since Ee-chan and I were working with what camera we have, we have to find a suitable angle and lighting TxT 

Was super fun though ^^ 

(will be planning more extensively if Im doing light haired characters next time 

wahahahaha xD) 

Meanwhile, I have to rush back to my work again >,<

Have an exam next week >,<

Lens Review _ Geo's Angel Purple ♥

Hi , Today I'm going to review Geo's  Angel Purple lenses 

that I got for my Taiwan and Alice (Pandora Hearts) cosplay during AFA :3 

(photo here taken without flash , under room lighting)

Loving this Hello Kitty Case to death ~!!!!xD

Angel Colour's diameter is : 14,5 mm

As you can see, the enlarging effect is pretty big despite the diameter - which further shows that you dont really need a 17-18mm lenses for enlarging effects (its not exactly a good idea too to deprave more of your eyes from Oxygen :( by using ultra extra HUGE lenses )

Review :

Comfort ♥♥♥♡♡

Ironically , I found my iFairy lenses ( 16 mm ^^"") slightly more comfortable than this lens despite their smaller diameter ...

Enlargement ♥♥♥♡♡

Not much enlargement here if you compare with iFairy . BUT THEN , they're still bigger than my own irises and gave a pretty decent enlarging effect !! :3 and  they're more NATURAL looking to wear out without eye make up compared to iFairy's , which tend to look weird without eye make up sometimes ^^

Colour ♥♥♥♥♡

Love it~!! The colour is just nice :3 

If you're looking for something more dramatic though , go for Geo's animation lenses instead.  They're without degree , but their colour are very striking ( I dont really prefer them as they're too striking and unnatural , unless you're cosplaying sb like Orochimaru from Naruto hahahaha ^^ )

Will I buy it again ? 

Probably Yes for event use. Not for daily use . This isnt that comfortable for me for daily use . But then again our eyes are different , and some of my friends actually find Geo more comfortable than iFairy or Big Barbie from Beog Mulapt , so you may want to give it a try and see if its comfortable on you . :3

I was mid-exam "Mugger"-mode at the time hahaha ^^"

(for those of you who doesnt know , 'mugger' in Singlish means students who are hardworking and memorise notes regularly  to regurgitate the content during exam~ )

dont start to criticise me on that :P 

we use the term loosely here to refer to the time when we studies reallly hard before exams too :P

Basically , it was very close to my exam ,

It is thick and creamy !! Much nicer than Tonkatsu King's if I have to compare xD !! The taste really lingers and it is the kind of soup I cant have enough of xD !!

Cha Shu ❤❤❤♡♡

But needless to say, Ippudo's reputation isnt for nothing ! The cha shu is succulent and juicy ;3  Although after eating Marutama's Cha Shu , this became 3 out of 5 instead of 4 out of five :3 heheee~ I'll still go to Marutama if I only wanted Cha Shu ...

seriously, 

the Ramen masters should like meet up and combine their skills to make an ultimate ramen :P 

Noodle

I have no picture of the noodle specifically hohoho~ ^^ but then again , I have no special impression of it , so it should have been just so-so :3 

so basically that summed up what I wanted to say that day :P 

I could only stay for an hour T_T should have stayed T_T because Mirai chan got 3-5 of this sticker below and waited till 5 pm ! OAO

(my sad sticker ended up being pasted on my tea bottle) 

 and she got a stash !! :D
