DAISO haul & Lipbalm review

Hey ho~~~

Went to DAISO this weekend and bought some stuff , anyway , here are what may be interesting - the rest are stuff like clothes  hanger and snacks ;P 

I bought :

1. A Preppy Ribbon headband 

hahahaha $2 for this is pretty cheap ^^ granted they sold it as party accessories, I see it as   my normal accessories :P The thread securing the ribbon to the headband can be cut too , so that the ribbon can be slid through the headband , creating a sideway ribbon ;D

2. Hello Kitty Lens casing 

(bought the pink one last time - pink one seem to be OOS now D:

which is pretty sad, as it is prettier than the red one I think)

3. Princess Pink Lip Balm 

now, I NEVER bought skincare/cosmetics (other than falsies) from DAISO before, but I am in a tight budget and I need a lipbalm , so I glanced at the ingredients and it seems like they're normal lipbalm material , so I bought this to try it out 川´･ω･`川

This is made in TAIWAN 

Honestly , there were 2 types of lipbalm sold in DAISO , but the other type contains paraffin ~_~ and somehow (this is baseless kay , I've NOT done my research ) after reading about the effects of paraffin implants on breasts (YEA breasts , NOT LIPS okay! ^^"" hehehehe) I became a bit of a paranoid parrot and decided to go with this la 

(the ingredients are about the same as the one of other brands I've used - which are reliable brands :3) 

and voila~

The pictures doesnt really 100% capture it lah but basically here is the review : 

1. Colour 

It is a pinkish colour indeed - a very glossy one . It is kinda reflective under bright light but it does give your lips some colour (sorry I failed to capture that ~_~ the reflective nature of the colour kinda makes capturing it difficult) .Also , it smell SWEET and nice ~<3

2. Moisturizing 

Definitely yes , although a bit sticky (it is as sticky as Dolly Wink /Majolica lipglosses though , so basically its not a major problem at all) 

3. Will it buy it again ? 

Probably yes ? Seeing its okay so far . Its pretty comparable to most lipbalm out there except for the fact that the stick isnt as firm as other lipbalms I've used, so you may want to be a bit careful when using - it not to break it.

lipIce SHEER COLOUR Review

I had had some problem about dry lips for a while now, 

and I've been using quite a number of brands of lipbalm to fight this problem 

Then, I heard about lipIce, 

of which, the facebook page claims 

"Mentholatum, the #1* Bestselling Lipbalm Brand in Japan!" 

One of their selling point is...

They contain Natural Beeswax~!!

Curious, I filled in their sample form and voila !!

It finally arrived today !!!

To be honest , I actually claimed one of their previous sample before

but it didnt reaaaallllly awed me this much ^^  I like it , and I kept it for some time tIll I accidentally dropped it T_T . Sadly , one fb accunt can only claim the sample once, 

so my imouto-chan, being so nice, claimed one for me, 

and it happened to be THIS ONE !!

The sample packaging  is cute too ~~~!!! 

I got a mini "meltz" when I opened the sample and saw this cutie ~ =^^ =

It fits easily into my already very cramped wallet  。(⌒∇⌒。)

So, apparently, its supposed to appear sheer, 

and then change colour to PINK !!!!

Really ??

So, I opened the mini capsule , aaaaand ~~

1. The amount is actually generous ^^ 

I think this will last me for 2 weeks - 1 month at least

2. It IS indeed sheer O.O as you can see, it seemed untinted

I'm quite surprised that it does work !!!!!

SO, what happened is : 

It IS initially sheer, but somehow, 

as they claim, it Magically turns a pretty shade of pink. (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ

So, my opinion on this item is :

Moisturizing power : 9/10 

It is very moisturizing . Creamy and thick, yet not smothering on the lips. 

Colour : 8/10

Love it !!! The pink shade is so smooth and sweet  :D and it stays on . I'd love it if they explain what actually goes on though, cause some people may cringe at it and think its some dangerous chemical process :3 but overall, I trust lipIce's products and I didnt see any potentially harmful ingredients on their ingredient list :3. They're reputable too ^^ 

Will I repurchase ?

Yes !! Once I finished my current one and this one  ^^

I am by no means paid by lipIce to write this. I just felt like writing this cause I've had dry lips problem for quite some time and given I got this item for free , and it actually works quite well !! I decided to write sth about this ^^
