Haul ❤ Hello Kitty Make up Brush - MAC Inspired

First and foremost apologies for the slow post this week . Im having my final year exam tomorrow ( TAT ) so I'm rushing studying for everything for the past few weeks. So today I'm just going to write about one of my recent haul  ❤  : a set of Hello Kitty brush in a Hello Kitty tin brush ( first and foremost apologies for the low resolution pics as I only have my phone camera with me recently ^^" ) 

Anyway ,I saw these and they were so cute I just couldnt resist ordering them !! I mean, these are freaking cute !!

Hello Kitty Brush Set 

This is how it looks like inside of the box  :) A set of 7 brushes with labels on the handles 

(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧ The brushes included are :

 Face Brush

Foundation Brush

Eye Liner Brush

Eye Shadow Brush

Apparently they're inspired from MAC's Hello Kitty brush set :3 the Tin is the one on the right below (the silver hello kitty shaped ones) , which is absolutely gorgeous ૮(ᶿ̴͈᷇ॢ௰ᶿ̴͈᷆ॢ)ა✧  I know the quality is of the inspired one is course probably totally diff from MAC's - actually the brush design itself is already not exactly the same - but honestly as a dirt poor intern ╭(๑¯д¯๑)╮ I cant afford that kind of thing so... for me these will do !! ヽ(=^･ω･^=)丿 - overruled by cuteness ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶…⋆ฺ

With regards to the inspired brushes , what struck me most and taunted me to buy them is the ... pink gradation at the end of this brush ｡ﾟ( ﾟஇ‸இﾟ)ﾟ｡.... ( being an ageing lady , I am ashamed that I still cant control my impulse-buy tendency with regards to cute things ) When the brush arrived , I have to say I'm surprised that the hair is actually quite soft  ヾ(。◕ฺ3◕ฺ)ノ 
You definitely can NOT compare this to animal-fur brushes which were retailing in Japan at 60-$150++ per brush , but seriously for a brush SET which I bought for $8 ... I dont have much regret  ٩(●˙▿˙●)۶…⋆ฺ 

pink softness ~ 

Here are the rest of the brushes !
 Most of the brushes inside have white-creme-pink gradations except for one brush !!
The tip of the eye shadow stick ( the one on extreme left side ) is roughly a heart shaped sponge with peach colour on one side and white colour on the other side as you can see 

And for the one brush with creme-brown gradation, it is the foundation brush . Although since this is a foundation brush I guess when you use it with foundation creams , powder or BB creams it will turn creme-beige in the end and so even if it started off pink it wont show it in the end (╯︵╰,) so its allright for me :3  unless you planned to use it exclusively for brightening mousse or pink cc creams o(〃＾▽＾〃)o

Anyway , here are some nicer pictures I found from some eBay shops selling the exact same set of Hello Kitty brush :)

Quite happy with my haul this time around ^^ I was afraid the brush will be rough and wont be functional and the brushes will just look cute. However , it turned out that the brushes are actually quite soft and nice to use. The compact size means you can easily carry them around too :3 Sadly, only the blusher brush comes with a thick plastic covering .・゜゜・（／。＼）・゜゜・．   The rest comes in the crackly plastic covering which is easily torn ... But I guess the metal tin kinda made up for it though cause I saw some online shops selling ones without the tin at about $7-$12  (。◕ฺ3◕ฺ)  Anyway this end my rant for today  ~ Will post sth longer in 1  to 2 weeks time after my exams are done ~~~

❤ Dip and Roll ❤ Bag Review

Heya ~~

I recently received my Hello Kitty Harajuku Bag from Dip and Roll  [http://dipandroll.blogspot.sg] and today , I'm going to review it !!! After being so occupied with work for the past few weeks QAQ I finally have the time to sit down and consolidate the shoot pictures from last week >,< !!

So basically , this is the bag I got ;D

No. 05 !! 

I chose this because its just so. freaking. cute !!!! xD I mean , look at that ribbon !!! x'D 

I was pretty anxious about pre-ordered bags because sometimes, although they look nice in pictures, when they arrive, the quality isnt that nice :( what looked like pvc / thick cloth / leather on picture can turn out to be some dull colored /rough/ cheap materials when it arrived. 

That's why , 

when my bag finally arrived , I was quite HAPPY !!! :D 

Because , the bag is really nice and true to picture !! :D

First , the material really is quite hardy and nice, as pictured ;D !!!

( and look at that cute ribbon!!! >,< )

the bag size , colour ,  and even the positioning of the hello kitty pictures and phrases  

are true to picture to quite a good extent LOL !!!!

Of course I've had some encounters with bags I bought at $10 from Bugis Street which broke down just because I put heavy books in the bag (the snap will break apart) /because it dropped OTL... or bags which material got scraped easily just because it brushed against some rougher surface or was placed on the ground ... but this isnt the case lol. I brought this bag out for a week and it was pretty hardy and the material quite lasting ;D 

I love this bag because it screams out "Harajuku!!" 

So of course , 

I have to bring it out for a "Harajuku" styled outing ;D

I also bought (yes , purchased ^^ ) a bag from Dip and Roll  because their collection is so cute ;D and quite affordable !!!!

I bought this one below , in Cream colour ;D 

I've been using this for work for the past week and its an awesome bag ;D 

Will be reviewing this as soon as I have the time to do so :D 

I was initially very VERY torn between buying the bag above and this one below >,< 

(because the purple one is so cute >,< and I dont have a purple bag ) 

But after some thinking I decided to purchase the one above LOL ^^""

DAISO haul & Lipbalm review

Hey ho~~~

Went to DAISO this weekend and bought some stuff , anyway , here are what may be interesting - the rest are stuff like clothes  hanger and snacks ;P 

I bought :

1. A Preppy Ribbon headband 

hahahaha $2 for this is pretty cheap ^^ granted they sold it as party accessories, I see it as   my normal accessories :P The thread securing the ribbon to the headband can be cut too , so that the ribbon can be slid through the headband , creating a sideway ribbon ;D

2. Hello Kitty Lens casing 

(bought the pink one last time - pink one seem to be OOS now D:

which is pretty sad, as it is prettier than the red one I think)

3. Princess Pink Lip Balm 

now, I NEVER bought skincare/cosmetics (other than falsies) from DAISO before, but I am in a tight budget and I need a lipbalm , so I glanced at the ingredients and it seems like they're normal lipbalm material , so I bought this to try it out 川´･ω･`川

This is made in TAIWAN 

Honestly , there were 2 types of lipbalm sold in DAISO , but the other type contains paraffin ~_~ and somehow (this is baseless kay , I've NOT done my research ) after reading about the effects of paraffin implants on breasts (YEA breasts , NOT LIPS okay! ^^"" hehehehe) I became a bit of a paranoid parrot and decided to go with this la 

(the ingredients are about the same as the one of other brands I've used - which are reliable brands :3) 

and voila~

The pictures doesnt really 100% capture it lah but basically here is the review : 

1. Colour 

It is a pinkish colour indeed - a very glossy one . It is kinda reflective under bright light but it does give your lips some colour (sorry I failed to capture that ~_~ the reflective nature of the colour kinda makes capturing it difficult) .Also , it smell SWEET and nice ~<3

2. Moisturizing 

Definitely yes , although a bit sticky (it is as sticky as Dolly Wink /Majolica lipglosses though , so basically its not a major problem at all) 

3. Will it buy it again ? 

Probably yes ? Seeing its okay so far . Its pretty comparable to most lipbalm out there except for the fact that the stick isnt as firm as other lipbalms I've used, so you may want to be a bit careful when using - it not to break it.
