Oreimo Cosplay Photoshoot - Goko Ruri 五更 瑠璃 / Kuroneko

Hello~ Happy belated CNY ~
Hope you've had an awesome holidays ^^ 

Today's entry is about Kuroneko's shoot . Kuroneko is a character from Oreimo 
Oreimo is short for 

Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai 
俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない
which means "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute" 

The character I cosed was Kuroneko 
This, below is the default version :'( wanted to go hardcore mode and shot 3 versions at 1 sessions since its a rare indoor studio session which otherwise wont be so affordable :P but sadly my default cos didnt arrive on time :( so next time for this...

However, I managed to cos the meido version and my friend Spinelo agreed to lend me her costume for the shoot !!! :D So in addition to the meido version, 

 managed to cos the pseudo- kimono / yukata version too :D 

during the shoot, we have pleeenty of people crammed in xD and luckily my senpais and my fellow batchmates kindly allowed me to hog some space for a while ^^ hahaha , else I wont get some nice shots which has a chance of happening in like 1 in a 100 OTL...

My first reaction when I arrived was 

"WAH NICE CURTAIN" !! 

so we tried to replicate this scene below here 

it turned out like this... 

Im admitting that Im really getting too old to cos the likes of Kuroneko T_T 

(which is why Im aiming to do as much cos as possible right now because I know the amount of time I have for cosing is just going to decrease as I enter the workforce in my field - healthcare :'(  - wondered how Misako Aoki juggled it since she's be almost as busy as most healthcare workers T___T ;;; ) 

upper angle is not so bad but Im not really happy about how the lighting turns out... a bit too glaring :( but we tried out best ^^ (yay) and I had awesome fun drg the shoot, ESPECIALLY because I get to meetup and catch up with some friends too !!!!

And because I have to leave T___T so my seniors and friends very nicely gathered and took photo so we can have a complete group pic :')))  - ( on a hindsight, looking at this pic I think one of my girl friend is missing from the pic tho ... OxO; ) 

Would love to thank every single person - my friends, senpais and everyone in my school's cosplay society who had helped make this shoot possible ^^ without these awesome people cosplay scene in my school will be close to non existent or plain boring - they have regular makan sessions (which I never attended sadly because of my schedule) , prop making sessions and exciting group shoots :) !!! They are also an awesome bunch who will gladly help with advice when cos is concerned ;D Im glad I get to met them and join the club at the beginning of my first year - else, I'd probably have not learned as much  :) 

So Thank you minna-san, for helping me learn so much 

and I hope to learn more and do better the next time around ^^

Lucky☆ Star らき☆すた Photoshoot - Izumi Konata 泉 こなた

Heya Minna-san~ 

I'm back after a long long hiatus thanks to school/internship TxT 

Anyway, managed to squeeze in 2 shoots recently , so I'll be writing about the first one first :D 

Which (as you must have known if you are in my Facebook page) 

is Lucky ☆ Star らき☆すた !!

and the character being 

Izumi Konata 泉 こなた

I have to say Konata is one of my favorite chara xD!!

Because ...

she just represent many of us I feel T3T;;;;;

hurhur....

cannot study.

dont want to study.

not born to study!!

HAHAHAHA!! 

Anyway, 

tried playing with more vibrant colours this time around :3 

Also managed to snag Amane-chan my kouhai to shoot as Kagami with me !!

Also did Konata's Christmas version, for which I rushed the cape within 1-2 hours or so with Ee-chan's help OTL...

We actually tried taking a Konata-licking-the-cornet shot :P

But it turned out VERY UNGLAM HAHAHAHAHA XD

In the end, after choosing this one picture below for the cornet shot 

I realized that I have some leftover pictures of us 

so I tried to make this "san-koma" instead hahahahaha xD (no 4th picture thus sadly, cant make a yon-koma) :(((

AFTER A LONG TIME OF SHOOT DEPRIVATION 
I feel so happy I was FINALLY able to 
(1) Have a photoshoot at all 
(2) Have a photoshoot of one of my fave chara of all time xD !!!
(3) WITH Amane ~ my pretty Kouhai ~

The shoot is a pretty fun one since Konata's generally laid back, lazy, otaku-ish and tomboy-ish attitude will come naturally to most of us I guess :D heheheheee....  I just have to act chill , sit in the natural way I sit, and remember what she likes to do :D 

Although I tried to act more moe for a few shots (which is kinda out of chara hahahaha - but its a fun shoot for us :D )

Lessons learnt this time : 
(1) Lighting indoor , despite the many many windows in the room, may not be enough TxT , 
(2) Watch out for the ahoge, although it looks good in real-life some shots doesnt show it at the correct angle and it ended up looking like a stump OTL . See below? The first picture's ahoge and the second's are the same. But the angle in the first one makes it look like a STUMP!!! OTL 



To end this post , this picture is what I first posted before anything else, (I only had time to edit in the bubble speeches and emoji signs hahaha xD) Now you see how it was qite a fun shot for us xD I was actually whacked a few times with harisen to get this shot LOLOLLL!!! xD!

I just started my holiday last week and this week is ALREADY my last week of holiday (only 2 weeks) so I dont have time to travel overseas (i'll just be stuck at home like a true Hikkikomori while watching anime and making props) :3 Hopefully  I'll get the mood to study next week ebcause I REALLY need to start studying already so I'll be ready for school in Jan :(((( haix... Wish me luck ^^

The remnants of the Hungary PS pictures :3 ❤ 1/2 ❤

Yea , hahaha , 

so as the title suggests, I got some of the remnants of the Hungary PS pictures today ~~ :3 ❤

My surgery scar is flattening out , but not flat enough yet for it to be 100% concealable with concealer =[]= ... for now, its about 50%... I really hope by July it will be much much flatter TAT;;; *sadlife* 

So for now , I am putting down cosing for a while until I can prance around and bask under sunlight  without this tape =_= because I cant expose the scar to UV light , as said by the doctor... OTL...

Filling my days with crazy hectic schedule, I cant cos much too anyway TAT;;; so ... I'll make do with occupying myself with other things for now... 

Without further adue or sprouting of my nonsense ^^ hehehe...
